Job Description
PRIMARY OBJECTIVE OF POSITION:Â
This position assembles fabricated parts to relatively small or light subassemblies and complete units. Uses hand tools and small power tools to assemble units. Has knowledge of commonly-used concepts, practices, and procedures for assembly. Works under immediate supervision of group leaders.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Basic Print Reading
- Verify raw material kitted for accuracy
- Label per specs
- Apply shrink boot labels with heat gun
- Assemble hardware
- Assemble basic connectors (body, insulator & contact)
- Assemble basic subassemblies(insulators & contacts)
- Measure tolerance level with a hand gauge
- Continuity check with probes
- Use forced/compressed air to clean debris from parts
- Bag parts using packaging machine
- Update activities in software and sign process sheet
Requirements
POSITION/TRAINING REQUIREMENTS
- Education – High School or Equivalent
- 3-6 months Experience
- Must be able to pass a drug screening test and eye exam.
