Job Description

PRIMARY OBJECTIVE OF POSITION: 

This position assembles fabricated parts to relatively small or light subassemblies and complete units.  Uses hand tools and small power tools to assemble units.  Has knowledge of commonly-used concepts, practices, and procedures for assembly.  Works under immediate supervision of group leaders.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Basic Print Reading
2. Verify raw material kitted for accuracy
3. Label per specs
4. Apply shrink boot labels with heat gun
5. Assemble hardware
6. Assemble basic connectors (body, insulator & contact)
7. Assemble basic subassemblies(insulators & contacts)
8. Measure tolerance level with a hand gauge
9. Continuity check with probes
10. Use forced/compressed air to clean debris from parts
11. Bag parts using packaging machine
12. Update activities in software and sign process sheet

Requirements

POSITION/TRAINING REQUIREMENTS

1. Education – High School or Equivalent
2. 3-6 months Experience
3. Must be able to pass a drug screening test and eye exam.
