Job Description
PRIMARY OBJECTIVE OF POSITION:Â
This position assembles fabricated parts to relatively small or light subassemblies and complete units. Uses hand tools and small power tools to assemble units. Has knowledge of commonly-used concepts, practices, and procedures for assembly. Works with little or supervision from the group leaders.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Performs all functions of Assembler I & II
- Assemble complex jobs
- Assemble beaded sub-assemblies
- Seit solder parts
- Identify damaged material and tools
- Verify proper configuration of piece parts kitted for job
- Trained in Soldering per J-STD-001 and IPCA-620
- Rework parts to conforming condition
- Determine tooling required for the assembly when no specific tooling is called out
Requirements
POSITION/TRAINING REQUIREMENTS
- Education – High School or Equivalent
- 1-2 years experience
- Must be able to pass a drug screening test and eye exam
