Job Description

PRIMARY OBJECTIVE OF POSITION: 

This position assembles fabricated parts to relatively small or light subassemblies and complete units.  Uses hand tools and small power tools to assemble units.  Has knowledge of commonly-used concepts, practices, and procedures for assembly.  Works with little or supervision from the group leaders.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Performs all functions of Assembler I & II
2. Assemble complex jobs
3. Assemble beaded sub-assemblies
4. Seit solder parts
5. Identify damaged material and tools
6. Verify proper configuration of piece parts kitted for job
7. Trained in Soldering per J-STD-001 and IPCA-620
8. Rework parts to conforming condition
9. Determine tooling required for the assembly when no specific tooling is called out

Requirements

POSITION/TRAINING REQUIREMENTS

1. Education – High School or Equivalent
2. 1-2 years experience
3. Must be able to pass a drug screening test and eye exam
